The Hanna City Park District was established following a successful ballot refferendum in November, 2008.  The HCPD now manages the operation of the Community Center and Fitness Center.
 
Mission Statement:
Hanna City Park District: Using our facilities to provide Recreational, Educational and Community-based opportunities for the Village of Hanna City.
Our Main Programs
The HCPD is a new park district, with a growing set of programs.  Following are some of those which are available today:
  • Community Center with meeting rooms,exercise room, and gym.
  • Fitness Center
  • Softball Field
  • Day Care Center
 
In Consideration
The Board is considering many ideas for growth in offerings.  Following are some of the more promising and/or significant:
  • Studio Room
  • Computer / Class Room
  • Fitness Locker Room Improvements
  • Softball Field Improvements
  • Picnic Pavilion
Of course, we are always looking for new ideas, participants and volunteers.  Please contact the Board, a Commissioner or attend a meeting to share your ideas, time or talents. 
Teaching Opportunities 
The Hanna City Park Board is looking for people with the desire to teach others. Class ideas are art, music, exercise for adults and children. If you have an idea please contact us.
